Are you unsure of where to start? 

 

Here at SpeakEasy Speech Therapy, we are all about parent/caregiver education. We’ll talk through the process of getting speech/language services.  We will also discuss your child’s speech/language needs and work together to discuss a plan of care that is easy for you to incorporate into daily routines. As parents, there are never enough hours in the day to do it all, so don’t stress about setting aside extra time for speech/language practice. We prioritize reviewing your days to squeeze practice into routines you’re already doing! 

 

Do you fear that you’ll be left out of this process?

 

Not here! At SpeakEasy, we require parents/caregivers to be present for at least 50% of sessions. The reason behind this is to see the SLP model different strategies to help your child’s skills improve. When you have questions- interrupt and ask! Of course we’re here to help your children, but we are also here to partner with YOU. Learning how to implement these evidence-based strategies will give you confidence when working with your child throughout the week.

With this type of therapy model, in addition to commitment from the family, I can confidently say that you’ll see a positive, long-term impact related to your child’s current speech and language needs. We’re on this path together, and we’re here to help your child “speak easy.”
